Every anniversary booking includes the small touches: a hand-written card from the concierge team in your room on arrival, a chilled bottle of the couple's preferred Champagne (we ask in advance — most members keep Pol Roger, Krug or Dom in their preferences file), petals on the bed, a curated playlist named for the year. For milestone years (10th, 15th, 20th, 25th) we propose a more elaborate gesture: commissioning a small bespoke item that arrives at the weekend (a leather-bound journal of the trip's photos, a custom Swiss watch strap, a private music recording from a Vancouver string quartet). Most of our anniversary bookings are surprise planned by one spouse. We work exclusively with you on a private email thread; the other spouse learns about each setting one element at a time, in the hour before it happens. A common script: Friday evening "Pack a light bag, the car will be here at 09:00 Saturday" — then helicopter, then Whistler, then dinner, then return Sunday. For a full surprise trip (Vancouver to Tofino without the spouse knowing the destination) we coordinate the home departure with a private chauffeur, deliver to Coal Harbour helipad as if it is the start of dinner, then the helicopter heads to Tofino instead. The reveal is part of the gift.
